Despite the introduction of free primary education by the Kenyan government, a majority of parents still struggle with other associated costs of primary education including student meals, the costs of textbooks and most of all, the cost of school uniforms.

DECA recognizes the significance of the environment on our day-to-day livelihoods.

The go-green program is involved with environmental programs such as tree planting, the establishment of vegetable gardens and clean ups within the community
